12. ONE-TIME ADDITION TO FLEET OF COURT ORDERED PROPERTY FOR SHERIFF'S IMPOUND AND FLEET OPERATIONS Approve a one-time addition to fleet of court-ordered abandoned property for the Sheriff's Office to be used as a "loaner" vehicle by Fleet Management and Impound Operations. Individuals in these units regularly require the use of a vehicle for short distances between Sheriff's Facilities. This is a dark blue 2002 GMC Sierra Pick Up truck with a shell cap, VIN 2GTEC19V921167756, valued at $9,260. This vehicle will be marked and will not be available for take home use. The approximate annual cost to operate will be $3,500 to be funded from Fleet Management. This vehicle will be retired at the end of its useful life with no funding from the detention fund or general fund for replacement. (C-50-10-029-M-00)
