20. RESOLUTION AND ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT FUNDS FROM ARIZONA STATE PARKS Adopt a Resolution to the Arizona State Parks Board and, if awarded, approve acceptance of a grant for Law Enforcement and Boating Safety Funds up to $297,350. This grant funds 50% of the salaries and benefits for eight existing deputy sheriff positions that provide boating law enforcement on the county lakes and rivers. A 50% soft match requirement is met by funding the balance of these existing positions the General Fund (100). The estimated award period is July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011. The Sheriff’s Office FY 10 indirect costs rate is 16.6%. These grant funds are the result of A.R.S. § 5-383 and indirect cost recovery is not allowed. The unrecoverable indirect costs associated with this grant are estimated to be $49,360.10. (C-50-10-076-G-00)
