14. IGA WITH ARIZONA STATE LAND DEPARTMENT FOR ENFORCEMENT OF OFF HIGHWAY VEHICLE (OHV) USE Approve an intergovernmental agreement (IGA) with the Arizona State Land Department (ASLD) and Maricopa County on behalf of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office which compensates Sheriff's Office for deputy overtime and vehicle use to enforce off highway vehicle use on weekends during Lake Patrol off season. The term of this agreement is effective on the date it is executed by both parties and shall expire five years from that date. This agreement is terminable within 60 days written notice of either party. The value of this agreement for FY 2010 is estimated to be $15,000. Also per A.R.S. 42-17106(b) approve an increase to FY 2010 Sheriff's Office (50) revenue and expenditure authority not-to-exceed $15,000 in General Fund (100) recurring (0000). Intergovernmental revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation and are therefore not prohibited by the budget law. This budget adjustment does not alter the budget constraining the expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17105. (C-50-10-079-M-00)

15. WORK ORDER FOR STATE LAND OFF HIGHWAY VEHICLE PATROL Approve the Sheriff's Office to enter into Work Order #2 from the Arizona State Land Department that begins October 30, 2010 through April 30, 2011. This work order allows the Sheriff's Office to pay deputy overtime and transportation costs not-to-exceed $20,000 in FY 2011 for week-end off highway vehicle patrol of designated areas of State Land. This is the 2nd year of a five-year agreement approved by the Board of Supervisors in January 2010 (C-50-10-079-M-00) that expires January 2015 unless terminated with a 60-day written notice. Also per A.R.S. 42-17106 (b) approve an increase to the FY 2011 Sheriff's Office (50) revenue and expenditure authority not-to-exceed $5,000 in General Fund (100) recurring (0000). Intergovernmental revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation and are therefore not prohibited by budget law. This budget adjustment does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenue duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17105. (C-50-10-079-M-01)

19. WORK ORDER WITH STATE LAND FOR WEEK END OFF HIGHWAY VEHICLE PATROLS Approve Work Order No. FY 13-001 with the Arizona State Land Department to provide week end off highway vehicle patrol for State Trust Land on an overtime basis from January 15, 2013 through January 15, 2014. The total estimated project cost for enforcement and travel is not-to-exceed $20,000. The original agreement was approved in agenda C-50-10-079-M-00. The Sheriff's Office has performed this function for the past three years. The service is delivered by Lake Patrol deputies on week ends January through March and then again on week ends late fall/early winter. (C-50-10-079-M-03)

WORK ORDER WITH STATE LAND FOR WEEKEND OFF HIGHWAY VEHICLES PATROLS Approve Work Order No. FY 14-001 with the Arizona State Land Department to provide week end off highway vehicle patrol for State Trust Land on an overtime basis from January 15, 2014 through January 31, 2015. The total estimated project cost for enforcement and travel is not-to-exceed $20,000. The original agreement was approved in agenda C-50-10-079-M-00. The Sheriff's Office has performed this function for the past four years. The service is delivered by Lake Patrol deputies on weekends mid January in April and then again in the fall on weekends beginning October through mid January. (C-50-10-079-M-04)
