A-4. APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT FOR SHERIFF'S RICO FUND Approve per A.R.S. 42-17106,B. an increase in the FY 2010 revenue and expenditure operating (0000) appropriation of $1,500,000 for the Sheriff’s RICO Fund (212). RICO revenue is not considered to be "local revenue" for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore expenditure of these funds is not prohibited by the budget law. This budget adjustment does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17105. Approval of this item is necessary to maintain structural balance in this fund. 86% of budgeted revenue and expenditures have been expended through January 2010. This increase will support anticipated revenue and expenditure activity for the remainder of the fiscal year. (C-50-10-096-M-00)
