23. ONE-TIME ADDITION TO SHERIFF'S DEEP UNDERCOVER FLEET Approve a one-time addition to the Sheriff's RICO deep undercover fleet of a vehicle seized and forfeited during a combined DEA and MCSO HIDTA Investigation and has been award to the Sheriff's Office. This vehicle replaces RICO Vehicle #71 which has excessive miles and is in needs of extensive repair. Also approve an exemption from markings and issuance of deep undercover plates per A.R.S. 38-538 because this vehicle will be used for undercover investigations where the safety of both the mission and the deputy are dependent upon anonymity. The estimated annual operations cost is $4,000 to be supported by Sheriff's Investigations. This vehicle will be retired at the end of its useful life with no replacement from the general fund.
