12. MODIFICATION TO COOPERATIVE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGREEMENT/EXHIBIT A - FY11 OPERATING AND FINANCIAL PLAN WITH U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE, FOREST SERVICE, TONTO NATIONAL FOREST Approve Modification #1 to the Cooperative Law Enforcement Agreement/Exhibit A-FY11 Operating and Financial Plan between the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Tonto National Forest and Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, increasing funding for the FY2011 Financial and Operating Plan in the amount of $1,000. This will increase the Operating and Financial Plan portion of funding from $118,000 to $119,000. This modification does not impact the funding that would be used for deputies working enforcement situations relating to fire emergencies. Exhibit A-FY2011 Operating and Financial and Operating Plan was approved by the Board of Supervisors on September 1, 2011, (C-50-11-008-G-00) with term of October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011. This modification also addresses three minor non-financial changes: 1) states the reimbursement for Patrol Activities; 2) adds the word, "Supplies" to the Equipment section; and 3) limits the amount for quarterly billings. Indirect cost for the Sheriff’s Office for FY2011 is 14%. Unrecoverable indirect costs associated with this increase are estimated to be $140. (C-50-11-008-G-01)

19. COOPERATIVE LAW ENFORCEMENT ANNUAL OPERATING AND FINANCIAL PLANS WITH U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE, FOREST SERVICE, TONTO NATIONAL FOREST Approve the FY2012 Cooperative Law Enforcement Annual Operating Plan and Financial Plan between the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Tonto National Forest and acceptance of up to $140,000 in reimbursement funding. The reimbursement period is October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012. Indirect cost for the Sheriff’s Office for FY2012 is 14.7%. Unrecoverable indirect costs associated with this Agreement are estimated to be $23,740.50. The Law Enforcement Cooperative Agreement was approved by the Board of Supervisors on September 1, 2010 (C-50-11-008-G-00). Amendment #1 (C-50-11-008-G-01) increasing funding by $1,000 was approved by the Board on July 6, 2011. (C-50-11-008-G-02)

MODIFICATION TO THE COOPERATIVE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE, FOREST SERVICE, TONTO NATIONAL FOREST Approve Modification #3 to the Cooperative Law Enforcement Agreement/Operating and Financial Plan between the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Tonto National Forest increasing the amount of funding by $15,000 from $123,577.92 to $138,577.92. The FY2012 Operating and Financial Plan was approved by the Board on August 31, 2011 (C-50-11-008-G-02). Indirect cost for the Sheriff’s Office for FY2012 is 14.7%. Unrecoverable indirect costs associated with this increase are estimated to be $2,205. The Cooperative Law Enforcement Agreement is a multi-year agreement which began on October 1, 2010 (C-50-11-008-G-00). MODIFICATION TO THE OPERATING AND FINANCIAL PLAN WITH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE, FOREST SERVICE, TONTO NATIONAL FOREST Approve Modification #7 to the Fiscal Year 2014 Operating and Financial Plan between the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Tonto National Forest, authorizing a retroactive extension from September 30, 2014 through January 31, 2015 to the FY2014 Operating and Financial Plan. This is an extension in period only. The purpose of the extension is to allow MCSO to expend FY14 funds through January 31, 2015. The FY2014 Operating and Financial Plan was approved by the Board on February 12, 2014 (C-50-11-008-G-07). 15. MODIFICATION TO THE OPERATING AND FINANCIAL PLAN WITH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE, FOREST SERVICE, TONTO NATIONAL FOREST Approve Modification No. 8 to accept funding in the amount of $100,400 for the 2015 Operating and Financial Plan and Modification of Grant or Agreement between the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Tonto National Forest, the reimbursement period will be from October 1, 2014 through December 31, 2015. The term of the Modification will be through December 31, 2015. This is changing the termination of the agreements from federal fiscal year to calendar year. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. The Cooperative Law Enforcement Agreement is a multi-year agreement which began on October 1, 2010 (C-50-11-008-G-00). The Operating and Financial Plan is renewed annually. The Sheriff’s Office indirect cost rate for FY2015 is 15.7%. Unrecoverable indirect costs associated with this Agreement are estimated to be $15,762.80. (C-50-11-008-G-09)
