18. GRANT FUNDS FROM ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES EDUCATION ACT BASIC ENTITLEMENT Approve acceptance of $35,849 in continued grant funding from the Arizona Department of Education, for the FY2011 Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Basic Entitlement. This funding provides contracted special education consulting services for staff training and IDEA implementation along with a variety of contracted therapist services for juvenile inmates. The term of this funding is July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011. The Sheriff’s Office indirect cost rate for FY2011 is 14% ($4,647). The recoverable indirect costs are $2,655; there is a cap of 8 %. The unrecoverable indirect costs are $1,992. (C-50-11-018-G-00)
