9. AGREEMENT WITH ARIZONA AUTO THEFT AUTHORITY FOR THE FY2011 LAW ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM Approve the Agreement and acceptance of $7,500 in grant funding from the Arizona Automobile Theft Authority, FY2011 AATA Law Enforcement Grant Contract Number: LE FY11-002. The term of this agreement is October 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011. The Sheriff’s Office indirect cost rate for FY2011 is 14%. Unrecoverable indirect costs associated with this grant are estimated to be $1,050. Approval to accept this funding from the Arizona Automobile Theft Authority will provide the Sheriff’s Office resources for deputies to conduct suppression details in areas that have a high rate of vehicle theft and conduct investigations of organized auto theft syndicates operating within Maricopa County. This award will be used to fund overtime and operating costs. (C-50-11-027-G-00)
