22. AGREEMENT WITH THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY FOR THE 2010 HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM, CRISIS MITIGATION AND DATA FIELD RESEARCH VEHICLE PROJECT – 777208-05 Approve an Agreement with the Arizona Department of Homeland Security (AZDOHS) for the 2010 Homeland Security Grant Program, Crisis Mitigation and Data Field Research Vehicle (Project # 777208-05) and acceptance of up to $260,000. The term of this award is October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011. Also, approve a one-time addition to the fleet of one LDV Custom 24ft Step Van that was specifically requested through this funding to provide intelligence support for incident commands. The Sheriff’s Office indirect cost rate for FY2011 is 14% ($36,400). This is a capital purchase (930) therefore there are no indirect costs associated with this Agreement. The estimated annual operating costs of this vehicle is $4,250.00 to be supported through the Intelligence Bureau, Counter-Terrorism/Homeland Security Division; General Fund (100). This is a one-time addition to the fleet and the vehicle will be retired at the end of its useful life with no funding from the general fund for its replacement. (C-50-11-033-G-00)
