23. ONE-TIME ADDITION TO FLEET Approve the one-time addition to fleet of a 2007 Polaris with 652 original miles, valued at $4,600. This is a forfeiture acquired through DR-08-156342 and will be assigned to Sheriff's Enforcement Support. The annual operations cost is estimated to be $1,500 to be funded by the General Fund (Enforcement Support) and this vehicle will be removed at the end of its useful life with no funding from the general fund for its replacement. This vehicle is expected to various operational tasks such as human smuggling call outs in difficult desert terrain, search and rescue operations, and parade security details because it can maneuver with ease in crowds.
