18. ACCEPT FUNDING FROM ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION 2011 - IDEA SECURE CARE GRANT Approve acceptance of $25,000 in continued grant funding from the Arizona Department of Education (ADE), 2011 IDEA Secure Care Grant for the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Jail Education Program. The term of this award is October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011. The Sheriff’s Office indirect cost rate for FY2011 is 14.0%. Unrecoverable indirect costs associated with this funding are estimated to be $404.64. The recoverable indirect cost is estimated to be $539.52; there is a cap of 8% on operating costs. ADE considers any equipment being purchased as capital and doesn’t allow indirect. (C-50-11-052-G-00)
