10. APPROPRIATION OF RICO FUNDS FOR SHERIFF'S OFFICE Approve an increase to the Sheriff's (500) FY 2011 RICO Fund (212) recurring (0000) revenue and expenditure appropriations of $1,327,500. RICO revenue is not local revenue for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore expenditure of this revenue is not prohibited by budget law. This budget adjustment does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenue duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17105. Approval of this mid-year request will fund the Sheriff's RICO appropriation to the amount originally requested in its FY 2011 budget submission ($2,655,000). The County Attorney ultimately reviews and approves RICO expenditures. Transactions are posted to the County Treasurer's system. (C-50-11-062-M-00)
