12. SOLE SOURCE FOR COMPUCOM MAINTENANCE Approve a sole source contract to CompuCom Systems for hardware maintenance and support of the Bull Novascale system that is currently installed and operating with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office (MCSO). Maricopa County is not aware of any other vendor that possesses the proprietary information necessary to provide the maintenance and support for this solution. This contract is effective December 17, 2011 for a three-year term, and its value is $276,475. This is the hardware that supports the Jail Information Management System. CompuCom is the only company authorized to service Bull Hardware and has the firm ware to make necessary upgrades as needed for the hardware. This item was advertised by Materials Management (11134-SS). Board of Supervisors' approval is subject to final review and approval of the contract by the Office of Enterprise Technology (OET) and the County Attorney's Office. (C-50-12-040-M-00)

13. RENEWAL OF SOLE SOURCE WITH COMPUCOM SYSTEMS FOR HARDWARE MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT Approve renewal of a sole source contract to CompuCom Systems for hardware maintenance and support of the Bull Novascale system. The system is currently installed and operating within the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) and is better known as JMS (jail information management system). This renewal option is provided for in the current contract and would be effective December 20, 2014 for a three-year term ending December 19, 2017. The value of this renewal option is $293,467.86. CompuCom is the only company authorized to service Bull Hardware and has the firmware to make necessary upgrades as needed for the hardware. Maricopa County is not aware of any other vendor that possesses the proprietary information necessary to provide the maintenance and support for this solution. (C-50-12-040-M-01)

18. AMENDMENT TO SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT WITH COMPUCOM SYSTEMS, INC Approve Amendment No. 2 to sole source contract #11134-SS between CompuCom Systems, Inc. and Maricopa County, Arizona for the purchase of hardware maintenance and support of the Bull Novascale system dated December 14, 2011 and effective December 17, 2011. The parties agree to exercise a renewal option in Section 1.2 for one (1) year to expire December 16, 2018. The value of this contract amendment is $140,413.41 which includes a 10% tax estimate. This is the hardware that supports the Jail Management System (JMS). Maricopa County is not aware of any other vendor that possesses the proprietary information necessary to provide the maintenance and support for this solution. CompuCom is the only company authorized to service the existing hardware and has the firmware to make necessary upgrades as needed for the hardware. (C-50-12-040-M-02)

14. AMENDMENT TO SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT WITH COMPUCOM SYSTEMS Approve Amendment No. 4 to sole source contract #11134-SS between CompuCom Systems, Inc. and Maricopa County, Arizona, for the purchase of hardware maintenance and support of the Atos (formerly Bull) Novascale system dated December 14, 2011 and effective December 17, 2011. The parties agree to exercise a renewal option in Section 1.2 for six (6) months through December 31, 2019. This extension will coincide with the Atos contract end date for monthly licensing fees and services The value of this contract amendment is not to exceed $64,626.29 plus an applicable tax. CompuCom is the only Atos authorized US vendor certified to work on the Bull (Atos) mainframe, that supports the current Jail Management System (JMS). Maricopa County is not aware of any other vendor that possesses the proprietary information necessary to provide the maintenance and support for this solution. (C-50-12-040-M-04)
