16. AGREEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF FUNDING FROM THE OFFICE OF NATIONAL DRUG CONTROL POLICY (ONDCP) FOR THE HIGH INTENSITY DRUG TRAFFICKING AREA (HIDTA) PROGRAM Approve the Agreement and acceptance of funding from the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) Award Number G12SA0005A, for the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Program in the amount of $582,235 for Maricopa County. The term of this funding is from January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2013. The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is the Fiduciary of these funds. The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office will receive $458,716. The Maricopa County Adult Probation Department will receive $40,000. The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office will receive $83,519. The total unrecoverable indirect cost amount is $83,709.83. The Sheriff Office indirect rate is 14.7% and they will not recover $67,431.25. The Adult Probation Department indirect rate is 12.3% and they will not recover $4,920. The County Attorney indirect rate is 13.6% and they will not recover $11,358.58. (C-50-12-070-G-00)

SUPPLEMENTS #1 AND #2 TO THE AGREEMENT WITH THE OFFICE OF NATIONAL DRUG CONTROL POLICY FOR THE HIGH INTENSITY DRUG TRAFFICKING AREA PROGRAM Approve Supplement #1 ($10,085) and Supplement #2 (-$40,000) to the Agreement with the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) Award Number G12SA0005A, for the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Program. The combined effect of these supplements is a decrease of $29,915 reducing the agreement amount from $582,235 to $552,320. The term of this Agreement remains the same, from January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2013. The original funding was approved by the Board of Supervisors (C-50-12-070-G-00) on April, 14, 2012. The Sheriff’s Office indirect cost rate for FY2013 is 14.1% ($10,085). The unrecoverable indirect costs associated with Sheriff’s Office increase are estimated to be $1,421.99. (C-50-12-070-G-01)

SUPPLEMENTS #3, #4 AND #5 TO THE AGREEMENT WITH THE OFFICE OF NATIONAL DRUG CONTROL POLICY (ONDCP) FOR THE HIGH INTENSITY DRUG TRAFFICKING AREA (HIDTA) PROGRAM Approve Supplement #3 ($1,634.25), Supplement #4 ($8,000) and Supplement #5 (-$752.00) to the Agreement with the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) Award Number G12SA0005A, for the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Program. The combined effect of these supplements is an increase of $8,882.25 increasing the agreement amount from $552,320 to $561,202.25. The term of this Agreement remains the same, from January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2013. The original funding was approved by the Board of Supervisors (C-50-12-070-G-00) on April, 14, 2012 and Supplements #1 & #2 were approved by the Board of Supervisors on April 24, 2013 (C-50-12-070-G-01). This supplement is an additional $8,400 increasing the agreement amount from $561,202.25 to $569,602.25. The term of this Agreement remains the same, from January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2013. The original funding was approved by the Board of Supervisors (C-50-12-070-G-00) on April, 14, 2012 and Supplements #1 & #2 were approved by the Board of Supervisors on April 24, 2013 (C-50-12-070-G-01). Supplements #3, #4 & #5 were approved by the Board on October 9, 2013 (C-50-12-070-G-02). The Sheriff’s Office indirect cost rate for FY2013 is 14.1%.
