16. ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT FUNDS FROM THE ARIZONA COMMISSION OF THE ARTS Approve acceptance of $2,500 in funding from the Arizona Commission on the Arts for the “Thoughtful Warrior” Youth Development Project (Grant #130409). The term of this funding is July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013. These funds will be used for the Sheriff’s Office Juvenile Education section to engage students in an arts education partnership with the Cultural Arts Coalition to develop programming to help reduce student recidivism. The Sheriff’s Office indirect cost rate for FY13 is 14.1%. Unrecoverable indirect costs associated with this funding are estimated to be $352.50. (C-50-13-026-G-00)
