13. AGREEMENT WITH THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY FOR THE 2012 HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM, AZLINK MAINTENANCE PROJECT – 999206-01 Approve an Agreement and acceptance of up to $155,718 in continued grant funding from the Arizona Department of Homeland Security (AZDOHS) for the 2012 Homeland Security Grant Program, AZLINK Maintenance Project (Project #999206-01). The term of this award is October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013. Approval of this Agreement and acceptance of funding will enable the Sheriff’s Office to connect the law enforcement agencies that have created CopLink Regional Nodes, creating AZLink as the regions are integrated. AZLink is a law enforcement program designed by regional law enforcement agencies giving them the ability to gather, share and disseminate criminal justice information and intelligence across the state and with our federal partners. More than 60 law enforcement agencies are part of the AZLink program. The Sheriff’s Office indirect cost rate for FY2013 is 14.1%. Unrecoverable indirect costs associated with this Agreement are estimated to be $21,956.24. (C-50-13-031-G-00)
