15. AGREEMENT WITH THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY FOR THE 2011 HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM, RRT AND CBRNE TEAM SUSTAINMENT PROJECT – 999810-01 Approve an Agreement and acceptance of up to $99,930 in continued grant funding from the Arizona Department of Homeland Security (AZDOHS) for the 2012 Homeland Security Grant Program, MCSO RRT (Rapid Response Team) and CBRNE (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive) Team Sustainment Project (Project # 999810-01). The term of this award is October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013. Approval of this Agreement and acceptance of funding will enable the Sheriff’s Office to purchase equipment for the Rapid Response and CBRNE Team to enhance their capabilities when responding to High Risk / All-Hazards Events. Equipment purchased will include; an EOD Bomb Suit, Avatar Micro Robot, software/hardware upgrade for previous purchased Robot, dog mounted infrared Cam and equipment. The Sheriff’s Office indirect cost rate for FY2013 is 14.1% ($14,090.13). Unrecoverable indirect costs associated with this Agreement are estimated to be $4,711.23. There will be capital equipment purchases that are excluded from the indirect cost calculation. (C-50-13-033-G-00)
