17. EXCEPTION TO COUNTY COMPENSATION PLAN FOR RETROACTIVE PAY Approve an exception to the Maricopa County Compensation Plan to correct an administrative error and allow a salary advancement to be effective retroactively to July 2, 2007 for Law Enforcement Officer Timothy Jay Ward. This compensation is an increase of 3.5% or $.76 cents per hour. The employee's accumulated retroactive gross compensation through pay period ending January 6, 2013 is $8,761.28. The employer cost of this retroactive compensation which includes variable benefits of 33.08% is $11,659.51 to be paid from the Sheriff’s General Fund (100). (C-50-13-044-M-00)
