15. ADDITION TO FLEET OF ELECTRIC CART Approve an addition to fleet of an electric cart for detention facility use. This vehicle will be purchased with Jail Enhancement Funds (214) and its approximate value is $9,645. This vehicle will be assigned to Towers Jail. Annual operating and maintenance costs are estimated to be $960 and will be paid from the Detention Fund (255). This will be a cleaner and more efficient means of transporting people and items, throughout the day when the assigned pick up truck, which is shared with another division, is not available. This will not be a street-licensed vehicle. (C-50-13-073-M-00)
