18. ONE TIME ADDITION TO FLEET Approve a one time addition to fleet of a reconditioned diesel powered forklift to be used outdoors at the firing range. The cost is approximately $20,000 and will be paid from the Sheriff's General Fund (100) one-time appropriation (0001). Annual operating expenses are estimated to be $2,500.00 to be paid from the General Fund (100). A forklift is necessary to move heavy ammunition safely at the firing range. The current forklift is no longer safe to operate and is considered non reparable. A diesel forklift has been recommended for the outdoor environment in which it will be used. There is access to diesel fuel on site. (C-50-14-005-M-00)
