19. FUNDING FROM THE ARIZONA GAME AND FISH COMMISSION FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT BOATING SAFETY FUND Approve the acceptance of up to $320,000 in continued funding from the Arizona Game and Fish Commission for Law Enforcement Boating Safety Fund FY14. The term of this funding is July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014. This funding will be used for overtime, equipment, maintenance/repair and/or replacement of water craft patrol boat(s) for continued effective patrolling of waterways in Maricopa County. The Sheriff’s indirect cost rate for FY14 is 18.4% ($58,880). These funds are the result of A.R.S. § 5-383 and indirect cost recovery is not allowed ($31,280). There will be capital equipment purchases, valued at $150,000 that is excluded from the indirect cost calculation. (C-50-14-019-G-00)
