8. LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR THE USE OF MADISON JAIL Approve a non-financial license agreement between Commander, Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG), acting as a representative for the United States Government (the "LICENSEE") and the Maricopa County Sheriff's Department ("LICENSOR"). The purpose of this License is to allow training exercises to take place in the Madison Jail facility. LICENSEE will be permitted access at least 72 hours prior to training to inspect and evaluate the suitability and safety of the properties for the proposed training. This License is dated September 16th, 2013. It is revocable by either party, at any time and remains in force and effect from November 13, 2013 to November 15, 2013. LICENSOR will be responsible that no unauthorized individuals enter the premises without permission of the LICENSOR and the LICENSEE or their designated representatives during the training. LICENSEE affirms liability for third-party injury events caused by negligence, and will not hold LICENSOR liable for damages or destruction of LICENSEE'S property that occurred during the training or for injuries to LICENSEE's personnel. 1. AMENDMENT TO LICENSE AGREEMENT BETWEEN MARICOPA COUNTY AND THE NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE DEVELOPMENT GROUP Approve an amendment to the License Agreement between Maricopa County and Naval Special Warfare Development Group that extends the use of the Madison Avenue Jail facility through November 19, 2013. The original license was approved by the Board of Supervisors on October 23, 2013, agenda item C-50-14-027-M-00. (C-50-14-027-M-01)
