13. ONE-TIME ADDITIONS TO FLEET AND EXEMPTION FROM MARKINGS Approve two one-time additions to the Sheriff’s fleet of special purpose Jeep SUV vehicles to be purchased with Sheriff's HIDTA forfeiture funds (251). Also per ARS 38-583.03 approve exemption from markings and deep undercover registration and plates. These vehicles will be used by the Special Investigations Division, HIDTA – MCDST Task Force for investigations and essential operations. HIDTA funds will support annual operational costs, estimated to be $13,000 and beginning in FY 2015. The vehicles will be retired at the end of their useful lives with no replacement from the general fund. Confidential specific vehicle identification information will be forwarded to the Clerk of the Board following purchase and acquisition. (C-50-14-037-M-00)
