25. PERMANENT TRANSFER AND CUSTODY OF SIX RETIRING CANINES Approve the permanent transfer and custody of six (6) retiring canines to their respective MCSO handlers as follows: Roger #K87 to Deputy J. Garcia #1434; Vato #K88 to Deputy A. Banuelos #1498; Erko #K104 to D.O. Suarez #A9238; Tate #K95 to Deputy D. Russell #1886; Radar #K100 to Sgt. McFarland #1344; and Blaze #k99 to Deputy Mike Milsaps. Approval of this item allows these dogs to become the personal property of the named deputies who will each be required to complete the Canine Program Release and Indemnity Agreement. These dogs have grown old and can no longer serve their purpose to the County or the Sheriff's Office. THIS ITEM REQUIRES UNANIMOUS VOTE OF THE BOARD. (C-50-14-045-M-00)
