22. ONE TIME ADDITIONS TO FLEET HIDTA VEHICLE TRANSFERS FROM DPS Approve four (4) one-time additions to fleet of vehicles purchased with HIDTA funds and assigned to DPS. DPS is no longer participating in the HIDTA Task Force and wants to transfer the vehicles to Maricopa County for use by detectives working the HIDTA initiative(s). The four vehicles are: 2008 GMC Yukon VIN #1GKFC13C38R104068; 2008 Ford F150 VIN #1FTPX12V28KD04092; 2010 Toyota Highlander VIN #5TDZK3EH7AS020133; 2010 Toyota 4 Runner VIN #JTEZU5JRXA5011741. Because the vehicles will be used for undercover purposes, also approve exemptions from markings and non-governmental plates per ARS 38-583.03. These vehicles will replace four existing HIDTA fleet vehicles and will result in a net zero increase to the current number of HIDTA vehicles in use. HIDTA funds will be used for the maintenance and operations of these vehicles, which will be retired or disposed of at the end of their usefulness according to HIDTA program terms with no funding from the General Fund for replacement. 21. REGISTRATION RECLASSIFICATION OF ONE VEHICLE TO DEEP UNDERCOVER Approve the registration reclassification of one vehicle, a High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) vehicle, acquired by the Sheriff’s Office under Agenda Item C-50-14-047-M-00, to deep undercover registration. Per A.R.S. 38-538-03, approval by the Board is required for deep undercover registration and exemptions from markings, including non-governmental license plates. Deep undercover registration is requested to maintain safety and anonymity of the investigation cases for which it will be used. Specific confidential vehicle information will be provided separately to the Clerk of the Board. (C-50-15-107-M-00)

46. TRANSFER OWNERSHIP OF VEHICLE TO OTHER LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY Approve request to transfer ownership of one (1) 2008 FORD F-150 truck to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). The truck was originally purchased with High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) grant funds and approved by the Board on February 20, 2014 (C-50-14-047-M-00). HIDTA has approved transfer of the truck to the DEA. Title will be transferred upon approval of this item. (C-50-27-038-X-00)
