Should these purchases not be finalized by the end of FY 2014, the Sheriff’s Office requests that the Board allow a carry-forward of non-recurring funds into FY 2015 to cover these planned expenditures. The Sheriff’s Office also seeks approval to submit its FY 2015 requested Detention Fund budget over the threshold amount by up to $4,100,000. The increase is largely attributable to the interfund allocation between the General and Detention Funds which is recalculated annually during the budget development process. (C-50-14-055-M-00)
