10. AGREEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF FUNDING FROM THE OFFICE OF NATIONAL DRUG CONTROL POLICY FOR THE HIGH INTENSITY DRUG TRAFFICKING AREA PROGRAM – INITIATIVE XXIV Approve the Agreement and acceptance of funding from the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) Award Number G14SA0005A, for the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Program in the amount of $464,460 for Maricopa County. The term of this funding is from January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2015. The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is the Fiduciary of these funds. The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office will receive $393,469. The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office will receive $70,991. The total unrecoverable indirect cost amount is $82,266.05. The Sheriff Office indirect rate is 18.4% and they will not recover $72,398.30. The County Attorney indirect rate is 13.9% and they will not recover $9,867.75. (C-50-14-066-G-00)

The Sheriff’s Office indirect cost rate, applicable to the year of this award FY2014, is 18.4%. The unrecoverable indirect costs associated with this increase are estimated to be $2,949.52. SUPPLEMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH THE OFFICE OF NATIONAL DRUG CONTROL POLICY FOR THE HIGH INTENSITY DRUG TRAFFICKING AREA PROGRAM – INITIATIVE XXIV Approve Supplement #2 to the Agreement with the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) Award Number G14SA0005A, for the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Program. This supplement is an increase of $12,528 increasing the agreement amount from $480,490 to $493,018. The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is the Fiduciary of these funds for Maricopa County departments. Supplement #2 is an increase in funding for the HIDTA – Metro Intelligence and Technical Investigative Center (MISTIC) for the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office indirect cost rate, applicable to the year of this award FY2014, is 13.9%. The unrecoverable indirect costs associated with this increase are estimated to be $1,741.40. The original funding was approved by the Board of Supervisors (C-50-14-066-G-00) on April 23, 2014.
