13. SUBGRANTEE AGREEMENT WITH THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY FOR THE 2013 HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM, TERRORISM LIAISON OFFICER SUSTAINMENT Approve a Subgrantee Agreement and acceptance of up to $77,202 in continued grant funding from the Arizona Department of Homeland Security (AZDOHS) for the 2013 Homeland Security Grant Program, MCSO Terrorism Liaison Officer (TLO) Sustainment Project #130814-04. The term of this award is October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014. The Sheriff’s Office indirect cost rate for FY2014 is 18.4%. Unrecoverable indirect costs associated with this Agreement are estimated to be $14,205.17. (C-50-14-070-G-00)

9. AMENDMENT TO THE SUBGRANTEE AGREEMENT FROM THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY – PROJECT # 130814-04 Approve Amendment No.1 to the Subgrantee Agreement from the Arizona Department of Homeland Security, Project # 130814-04. This amendment extends the expiration date of the Agreement from September 30, 2014 until August 31, 2015. The original Agreement (C-50-14-070-G-00) was approved by the Board of Supervisors on April 23, 2014 with term of October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014. This Amendment extends the amount of time available to the project which will enable the Sheriff’s Office to provide training for the Terrorism Liaison Officers (TLOs) to insure proficiency in the performance of their mission and increase their capabilities. The program provides immediate intelligence access through the state fusion center and assists with information dissemination and scene management during actual events. (C-50-14-070-G-01)
