18. ONE-TIME TEMPORARY ADDITION TO FLEET Approve a one-time temporary addition to fleet of red-lined vehicle #321112, a 2011 Chevy Tahoe Vin #1GNLC2E06BR333561, formerly assigned to Sheriff's Patrol District 3 so that it can be used by the Sheriff's Detention Special Response Team (SRT). The FY 2015 estimated operating cost of this temporary addition to fleet is $1,000 and will be paid from the Detention Fund (255). This vehicle is equipped with a cage which makes it highly useful for employee and inmate safety when transport is required following a special response incident at the jails. This red-lined vehicle will be returned when the new SRT vehicle is acquired and put into service, which is expected to be March or April of 2015. (C-50-14-085-M-00)
