20. FUNDING FROM THE ARIZONA GAME AND FISH COMMISSION FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT BOATING SAFETY FUND Approve the acceptance of up to $320,000 in continued funding from the Arizona Game and Fish Commission for Law Enforcement Boating Safety. The term of this funding is July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015. This funding will be used to pay for personnel costs, purchase equipment, maintenance/repair and/or replacement of watercraft patrol boat(s) to continue effectively patrolling the waterways in Maricopa County. The Sheriff’s indirect cost rate for FY15 is 15.7% ($50,240). These funds are the result of A.R.S. § 5-383 and indirect cost recovery is not allowed ($26,690). There will be capital equipment purchases, valued at $150,000 that are excluded from the indirect cost calculation. (C-50-15-004-G-00)
