11. AGREEMENT WITH THE DRUG ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATION FOR ORGANIZED CRIME DRUG ENFORCEMENT TASK FORCES Approve the Agreement and acceptance of up to $617,337.01 in continued funding from the Drug Enforcement Administration, Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) Investigative/Strategic Initiative # SWAZP0706. The term of this Agreement is from October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015. The Sheriff’s Office indirect cost rate for FY2015 is 15.7%. Unrecoverable indirect costs associated with this funding are estimated to be $41,205.81. There will be capital purchases ($354,879.59) that are not included in the indirect cost calculation. Approval of this Agreement will enable the Sheriff’s Office to purchase specialized equipment for undercover investigations and reimbursement of operational costs incurred by state and local enforcement of OCDETF Strike Force Investigation / Strategic Initiative. This task force disrupts the illicit drug trafficking organizations in Maricopa County and the State of Arizona by immobilizing targeted trafficking violators. (C-50-15-015-G-00)
