13. AGREEMENT WITH US DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, DRUG ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATION FOR THE DEA TASK FORCE FY2015 – 2 LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS Approve the Task Force Agreement and acceptance of up to $34,748.50 in continued reimbursement funding from the US Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration. The term of this Agreement is September 30, 2014 through September 29, 2015. The Sheriff’s Office FY15 indirect cost rate is 15.7%. The unrecoverable indirect costs are estimated to be $5,455.51. Approval of this agreement allows for reimbursement of overtime paid to the two deputies assigned to the DEA Task Force. The purpose of the agreement is to enhance disruption of the illicit drug traffic in Maricopa County and the State of Arizona by immobilizing targeted trafficking violators and organizations. The Sheriff’s Office has cooperated with the DEA since 1998. (C-50-15-017-G-00)
