20. SUBGRANTEE AGREEMENT WITH THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY FOR THE 2014 HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM, MCSO INTEROPERABILITY Approve a Subgrantee Agreement and acceptance of up to $105,000 in continued grant funding from the Arizona Department of Homeland Security (AZDOHS) for the 2014 Homeland Security Grant Program, MCSO Interoperability Project #140805-02. The term of this award is October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015. Any grant fund budget adjustments from this action will be handled in the Sheriff's grant fund FY 2015 mid-year appropriation adjustment request. The Sheriff’s Office indirect cost rate for FY2015 is 15.7% ($16,485). This is a capital equipment purchase that is excluded from the indirect cost calculation. Approval of this project will enable the Sheriff’s Office to purchase and install equipment to provide interoperable communications for the Office. This would allow the law enforcement agency that encompasses the entire Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) Region, MCSO, to participate in the regional interoperable plan. (C-50-15-034-G-00)
