14. VEHICLE USE AGREEMENT WITH THE NATIONAL INSURANCE CRIME BUREAU AND TEMPORARY ADDITION TO THE FLEET – FORD F-250 Approve the Vehicle Use Agreement between the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) and the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) and a temporary addition to the fleet of a 2003 Ford F-250. The term of this Agreement is through August 30, 2016. This vehicle will be used for a designated purpose in association with the Arizona Automobile Theft Authority (AATA) Law Enforcement Program. Also approve exemptions from markings in accordance with A.R.S. §38-538.03 and the use of undercover plates. This vehicle will not be a take home vehicle and will only be used to conduct theft suppression details. The estimated annual operating cost of this vehicle is $500 to be supported through the Arizona Auto Theft Authority (AATA) grants. This is a temporary addition to the fleet and the vehicle will be returned or a new vehicle use agreement will be submitted for approval and there will be no funding from the general fund for its replacement. 12. DONATION AND ONE-TIME ADDITION TO FLEET Approve the donation of a 2003 Ford F-250 #31300 and a one-time addition to fleet. This vehicle was initially acquired in the terms of the Vehicle Use Agreement between the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) and the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) as a temporary addition to the fleet. The Agreement terminated August 30, 2016 and the vehicle is currently parked and not in use. If approved, this vehicle will be used in association with the Arizona Automobile Theft Authority (AATA) Law Enforcement Program. Also approve exemptions from markings in accordance with A.R.S. §38-538.03 and the use of undercover plates. This vehicle will not be a take home vehicle and will only be used to conduct theft suppression details. This is a stationary vehicle and operating costs are minimal (less than $500 per year) to be supported by the general fund. This is a one-time addition to the fleet and the vehicle will be removed from the fleet at the end of its useful life with no funding from the general fund for its replacement. (C-50-15-060-M-01)
