17. SUBGRANTEE AGREEMENT-REALLOCATION WITH THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY FOR THE 2013 HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM Approve a Subgrantee Agreement-Reallocation and acceptance of up to $25,000 in continued grant funding from the Arizona Department of Homeland Security (AZDOHS) for the 2013 Homeland Security Grant Program, MCSO RRT (Rapid Response Team) Vehicle Storage Facility Generator Project #130814-06. This funding is to complete the project. The term of this award is January 1, 2015 through July 31, 2015. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. The Sheriff’s Office indirect cost rate for FY2015 is 15.7% ($3,925). This is a capital equipment/construction purchase that is excluded from the indirect cost calculation. Approval of this project will enable the Sheriff’s Office to complete the purchase of a generator for the RRT vehicle storage facility. This generator will be used during times of power outages to operate the heavy 16-foot vehicle doors and gates as well as the 16 heavy power drops that maintain the vehicle equipment and batteries. This generator will also be set up to operate emergency lighting within the facility. (C-50-15-068-G-00)
