20. DISPOSAL OF ANTIBALLISTIC AND STAB PROOF VESTS (BODY ARMOR) Approve the disposal of antiballistic and stab proof vests by the Sheriff's Office to Fiber Brokers, International LLC. This is an established firm that handles the destruction and recycling of materials used in these vests. Fiber Brokers will pay for shipping and provide the Sheriff's Office with destruction information including vest number and dates of destruction. Approval of this item allows the County to dispose of ballistic vests through a safe and environmentally sound means. There is no cost to the County associated with this action. (C-50-15-072-M-00)
