10. SUBGRANTEE AGREEMENT-REALLOCATION WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY FOR THE 2013 HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM Approve a Subgrantee Agreement-Reallocation and acceptance of up to $55,000 in continued grant funding from the Arizona Department of Homeland Security (AZDOHS) for the 2013 Homeland Security Grant Program, MCSO RRT (Rapid Response Team) EOD (Explosive Ordinance Disposal) Project #130814-07. The term of this award is April 1, 2015 through July 31, 2015. The Sheriff’s Office indirect cost rate for FY2015 is 15.7% ($8,635). This is a capital equipment purchase that is excluded from the indirect cost calculation. Approval of this project will enable the Sheriff’s Office to purchase an Explosive and Ordinance Disposal (EOD) protective suit and helmet and a portable x-ray system that will be used by the EOD Unit to identify potential explosive ordinance and devices. MCSO's Rapid Response Team and specialty components within the Team (e.g. the EOD unit) are deployable as a state-wide resource to assist and support any and all public safety entities.
