A-5. RESCIND ACTION AND APPROVE A REVISED AGREEMENT TO TOHONO O'ODHAM NATION FOR MUTUAL PROTECTION AND LAW ENFORCEMENT Rescind the Board action taken on July 22, 2015 (C-50-16-001-M-00) which authorized an agreement between the Tohono O'odham Nation and Maricopa County for the Mutual Protection and Assistance in Law Enforcement. Approve a revised Agreement between the Tohono O'odham Nation and Maricopa County for the Mutual Protection and Law Enforcement. This Agreement allows tribal police officers to assist Sheriff's Office Deputies within one (1) mile of the San Lucy District, located near Gila Bend, and for Deputies to assist within the San Lucy District when called upon to do so. The term of this Agreement is April 1, 2016 and when all parties have signed this Agreement, and continues for a period of five (5) years unless sooner terminated. This is a non-financial agreement.
