17. MOU WITH MARICOPA COUNTY CORRECTIONAL HEALTH SERVICES FOR DATA AND INFORMATION EXCHANGE RELATIVE TO TECHCARE™ ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORDS APPLICATION Approve a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office and Maricopa County Correctional Health Services that governs the operation and parties’ participation in the exchange and documentation and information from MCSO into the TechCare™ Electronic Health Records Application operated by CHS in efforts to provide coordinated care and planning. This MOU is effective when the Agreement is signed and can be terminated by either party with or without cause upon verbal or written notice. This MOU outlines an understanding that allows MCSO employees to enter notes regarding inmates who are in substance abuse treatment programs into Correctional Health's information system resulting in more effective continuity of care.
