9. LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING WITH MARICOPA COUNTY EDUCATION SERVICE AGENCY Approve a Letter of Understanding between the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and the Maricopa County Education Service Agency that establishes the roles and responsibilities of each party regarding the delivery of the county jail education program per Arizona statute 15-913.01. This Understanding begins July 1, 2020 and expires on June 30, 2025 and may be terminated for any reason by any party upon thirty (30) days written notice of all parties. This is a non-financial agreement and replaces the current five-year agreement which expires June 30, 2020 (C-50-16-016-M-00). (C-50-20-048-M-00)
