15. TRADE OF SURPLUS AMMUNITION Authorize the Office of Procurement Services to proceed with the trade of surplus 40CAL ammunition with San Diego Police Equipment Co., Inc. in exchange for a credit toward the purchase of 9MM practice ammunition. The value of this trade is $148,698.22. The exchange will take place in FY 2016. The Sheriff's Office is experiencing a surplus of 40CAL ammunition and increased usage of 9MM practice ammunition.
