21. MOU WITH CHICANOS POR LA CAUSA FOR TRAINING Approve a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Chicanos Por La Causa (CPLC) De Colores and the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office to provide training to Sheriff’s Office employees regarding the handling of domestic violence situations, youth violence and victims' needs. The training sessions will be conducted at MCSO facilities and only MCSO employees will be participants. Also approve this MOU retroactively from January 17, 2016 through September 30, 2017 with an automatic renewal until either party terminates the agreement in writing. This MOU can be canceled with 1-days advance notice or in the absence of funding. The CPLC De Colores is located in south central Phoenix and serves all of Maricopa County, providing a safe and secure environment for victims of domestic violence. (C-50-16-062-M-00)
