17. ONE-TIME APPROPRIATION OF SEIZED/FORFEITED GUN SALES REVENUE FOR PURCHASE OF SAFETY ITEMS Approve a one-time appropriation of up to $257,443 from the General Fund (100) to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office as follows: Increase the budget and expenditure authority in the FY2016 Maricopa County Sheriff's Office (500) General Fund (100), Non-Recurring Non-Project (0001) by $257,443 and decrease the Non-Departmental (470) General Fund (100) Non- Recurring Non-Project (0001) contingency in the amount of ($257,443). Approval of this action allows the Sheriff's Office to expend unanticipated one-time revenue that has been received in FY 2016 from the sale of seized/forfeited firearms on items that increase the safety of its posse members. These actions will have a County-wide net impact of zero and they do not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105.
