13. ONE-TIME ADDITION TO FLEET OF ONE REDLINED VEHICLE FOR LAKE PATROL DIVISION Approve a one-time addition to fleet of one redlined vehicle, equipment #13816, a 2008 Dodge Charger, for use by the Sheriff’s Office Lake Patrol Division. The vehicle will be used as an administrative vehicle for office staff to complete daily duties such as supply runs and courier service which are currently handled using patrol personnel and vehicles. Annual operating expenses are anticipated to be $1,500 and will be paid from the General Fund. This vehicle will be retired at the end of its useful life with no funding from the General fund for its replacement. This vehicle will have County vehicle markings and government plates. The addition of this vehicle to the Sheriff’s Office Lake Patrol Division for use by administrative staff will allow for sworn personnel to remain in the field rather than leave to help complete administrative tasks.
