14. AGREEMENT AND GRANT FUNDS FROM THE OFFICE OF NATIONAL DRUG CONTROL POLICY FOR THE HIGH INTENSITY DRUG TRAFFICKING AREA PROGRAM Approve the Agreement and acceptance of funding from the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) Award Number G16SA0005A, for the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Program in the amount of $555,136 for Maricopa County. The term of this funding is from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2017. The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is the Fiduciary of these funds for Maricopa County. The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office will receive $417,935. The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office will receive $137,201. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. The total unrecoverable indirect cost amount is $91,903.50. The Sheriff Office indirect rate is 17% and they will not recover $71,048.95. The County Attorney indirect rate is 15.2% and they will not recover $20,854.55. (C-50-16-078-G-00)
