15. EQUIPMENT TRANSFER OF FUEL TRUCK FROM DETENTION FUND TO GENERAL FUND Approve the operating equipment transfer of a fuel truck, equipment item 41512, from Sheriff’s Office (500) Detention Fund (255) to Sheriff’s Office (500) General Fund (100). This item was originally procured with detention funds and is now requested for reassignment and use in Sheriff's Aviation for general fund purposes. Authorize and approve a non-recurring fund transfer of $63,500 from the General Fund (100) to the Detention Fund (255). Also, Per ARS 42-17106(B) approve the following budget adjustments: 1. Increase to the FY 2016 Sheriff’s Office (500) Detention Fund (255) Operating (0000) revenue appropriation by $63,500 2. Fund Transfer out to the FY 2016 Sheriff’s Office (500) General Fund (100) Operating (0000) in the amount of $63,500. Expenditure authority will be moved from within the Department’s budget to accommodate the transfer out 3. Offsetting expenditure and revenue adjustment in Eliminations (980) Eliminations Fund (900) Operating (0000) 4. Offset the decrease in expenditure authority by increasing Non Departmental (470) Grant Fund (249) Operating (0000) by $63,500 The transfer and budget adjustment has a net impact of zero and complies with A.R.S. §42-17106. The fuel truck's current value is estimated to be $63,500. The fuel truck is located at the Buckeye Hills Shooting Range (“range”) and stores diesel fuel for the power generators. Aviation has a fuel tanker that will be moved to the range as an exchange. (C-50-16-084-M-00)
