11. TRANSFER OF EXPENDITURE AUTHORITY FOR OVERTIME NET ZERO IMPACT In accordance with A.R.S.§42-17106(B), approve the transfer of expenditure authority between the Sheriff’s Office (500) General Fund (100) Melendres Operating (MEL0) budget and the Sheriff’s Office (500) General Fund (100) Operating (0000) budget in an amount not to exceed $3,907,228. This action will require an expenditure appropriation adjustment decreasing FY 2016 Sheriff’s Office (500) General Fund (100) Melendres Operating (MEL0) in the amount of not to exceed ($3,907,228) and increasing the FY 2016 Sheriff’s Office (500) General Fund (100) Operating (0000) by an amount of not to exceed $3,907,228. Duties and functions associated with implementation of the Melendres Court Order have been embedded across the organization making it increasingly difficult to discern overtime that is 100% attributable to Melendres functions from overtime regularly incurred through the course of business. Approval of this item re-appropriates funding to recognize this situation. (C-50-16-090-M-00)
