18. PERMANENT ADDITION TO DETENTION FLEET Approve the operating equipment transfer of redlined vehicle #311027, a 2010 Ford Expedition from the General Fund (100) to the Detention Fund (255). This vehicle is currently valued by Equipment Services at $6,300. Also approve a permanent addition to the Sheriff’s Detention Fleet so that this vehicle can be replaced at the end of its useful life. Authorize and approve a one-time Operating Transfer of $6,300 from the Detention Fund (255) to the General Fund (100). This action can be absorbed within the current FY 2016 budget appropriations. The vehicle will be used by the Sheriff's Detention Special Response Team (SRT) for high risk transports of prisoners and psychiatric patients and is not expected to incur a high number of miles. The vehicle will be replaced at the end of its useful life with detention funds. (C-50-16-104-V-00)
