17. AMENDMENT TO COMPETITION IMPRACTICABLE JMS SOFTWARE INTEGRATION SERVICES Approve Amendment 2 to the Competition Impracticable contract, SERIAL 171006-CI Jail Management System (JMS) software Integration Services, between Tantus Solutions Group, Inc. and Maricopa County for services related to the implementation of the New Jail Management System solution (New JMS, AKA SHIELD). This amendment is effective immediately and increases the current contract value by $360,000 from $3,485,342 to $3,845,342. Approval of this amount will allow completion of task order interfaces plus other required maintenance before June 30, 2020. Additional travel costs are not anticipated. Funds are budgeted in the Detention Fund (255) for this purpose. The purpose of the contract is to provide integration services related to the implementation of the commercial off-the-shelf Jail Management solution. Tantus’ role has increased productivity since go live in October. All services are governed by individual task orders that are based upon the needs of the MCSO and the interaction with the eventual awarded vendor. (C-50-17-013-M-02)
