13. MOU WITH CITY OF PEORIA FOR SHARING LAW ENFORCEMENT INFORMATION Approve a Memorandum of Understanding between City of Peoria on behalf of its Police Department and Maricopa County through the Sheriff's Office for the purpose of enhancing the effectiveness of law enforcement to respond to criminal threats by increasing information sharing related to crime and criminal activities among federal, state, local and tribal law enforcement partners so that public safety is enhanced and the Nation’s critical infrastructure in Arizona is protected. This Memorandum of Understanding is non-financial and is effective from the day it is fully executed and will continue until either agency provides sixty (60) days prior written notice with intent to terminate.
